aaaahhhh.....this is my "everything has a reason for happening and all is perfect in some way" song! I was inspired to write this song as an expression of acceptance and finding inner peace. I am deeply grateful for the beautiful guitar of my good friend and co-writer Michael James. This is such an easy feeling song, one I hope will evoke contentment, ease and a slow creeping smile...
I often strive to accept the parts of myself that are imperfect, confused and flawed, as much as I try to be a better version of myself. It can be exausting reaching for a perfection that is not only unattainable but unhealthy. This song is special because of this, because it's o.k to be imperfect and accept the good, the bad, the joys, the sadness all the contrasts of life.
